Confucius says：Yu,shall I teach you what knowledge is?When you know a thing,to hold that you know it; and when you do not know a thing,to allow that you do not know it;  this is knowledge.

子曰：“由，诲女知之乎!知之为知之，不知为不知，是知也。”

  【翻译】孔子说：“仲由，教你对知道的态度，你明白了吗?知道的就是知道，不知道就是不知道，这就是智慧”

  【赏析】
孔子说出了一个深刻的道理：“知之为知之，不知为不知，是知也。”  承认有所知、有所不知，是一种老实的态度，也是最聪明的态度。唯其有所“不知”，才能成其“有所知”。人的知识再丰富，总有不懂的问题。有实事求是的态度，才能学到更多的知识。
